I chose The Wentworth at East Millcreek for my father after researching 7 other facilities in town.  I chose the Wentworth because it provided an excellent combination of everything I wanted: a safe location with attentive staff, a feeling of semi-independence in his own room decorated with his things, a lovely dining room where the cook could meet his need for soft foods and which provided enough structure to ensure he’d eat 3 times a day.  The Wentworth responded to my requests as we needed to adjust his care needs.  They ensured that Dad was well taken care of.  Dad called the CNA’s ‘his little angels’—they were so sweet with him, while providing him the care he needed, even when he wasn’t always easy to assist.
