Meet the Staff
Tom Brooks
Executive Director
Tom has served as the Executive Director in the healthcare community for eight years, overseeing all operational aspects of the community. His broad leadership experience and his compassionate personality have enhanced this community’s reputation and made it one of the most respected in the Salt Lake area. His hands-on style and his ability to connect with the residents and the staff members creates a positive and uplifting environment. He regularly hosts and participates in activities with our residents and they each consider him a friend and advocate. His endless energy and focus on constant improvement comes from his years of training in the military and Aviation background in Flight Operations.
Evelyn Saldarriaga
Receptionist
In the three years that Evelyn has been working at the Wentworth, residents, families and co-workers alike have grown to love and appreciate her. She knows just about everything that goes on, so she is the first person people go to with questions and concerns. If Evelyn is ever out of the office we all feel lost without her, she is truly the heart and soul of our community.
Judith Bradly
Marketing Director
After graduating from BYU-I with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Judith immediately went to work for a prestigious acute care facility in Southern California, accepting the position of Director of Marketing and Admissions. Having recently relocated to Salt Lake City, Judith comes to us with a wealth of knowledge about rehabilitative medicine and care. Her greatest attribute, however, is her love of people. Her affable personality makes her a favorite of just about everyone.
Aaron Crow, R.N.
Wellness Director
As the Wellness Director, Aaron oversees all care services, works directly with the residents and their families and is always on call for any issues that arise. Aaron has a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and has been with the Wentworth for the past two years. Aaron has tremendous compassion and a deep understanding of elderly concerns, which has been a true gift for the community.
Claudia Vasquez, CNA
Care Coordinator
Claudia is the care coordinator at East Millcreek Wentworth, she has worked within the health care community for 15 years. She is not only a CNA but she was also an EMT. She is devoted to helping other people and realizes that here at Wentworth. Her compassion and understanding for the residents is shown whenever you see her. She always has a smile on her face and brightens up everybody's day. Claudia is a valuable asset to our family.
She is from Chile, South America and enjoys to travel, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Virginia Hurley
Programs Director
As Programs Director, Virginia’s job is to see that everyone has the opportunity to be involved and that the programs are planned to allow each resident to express themselves with what they enjoy. Virginia graduated with a degree in Art from the University or North Carolina, Charlotte and has trained in fields that worked with her passion for Art Therapy. Virginia feels that life is about finding joy in the things you do and she makes this her goal for each of the residents.
Dietary Director
Maria’s motto is “work hard and enjoy life.” Maria has been with The Wentworth at East Millcreek for 11 years, starting her employment as a cook and eventually moving into the Dietary Director role. As Dietary Director, Maria is responsible for making sure the entire dietary department runs smoothly and that the food is always top notch and served with a smile. Maria is a great asset to the community and is loved by all.
Hilda Larsen
Housekeeping Director
Hilda has been the Housekeeping Director at The Wentworth at East Millcreek for over seven years and has done a fabulous job of keeping the community and residents rooms in tip-top shape. Hilda loves her job and comes to work each day with a smile and positive attitude.
Steve Saldarriaga
Maintenance Director
Steve is a “jack of all trades” and is always able to take any problem head on and fix it. Steve does an excellent job in maintaining the community and each resident’s room and done so with a caring and understanding touch. To say he is a dedicated employee, is an understatement. Steve consistently goes above and beyond the needs of the community.
